We sew for you from fine hemp fabrics. We are going against the current trend in the cannabis industry. Everyone thinks weed is smoking. We think it's better to wear cannabis. In the European context, this is the best textile crop. It grows very easily almost everywhere even without demanding care. This was already known to our ancestors, who used hemp seeds for textile purposes. Hemp fibers are very strong and were used, for example, to make ship ropes. For use in weaving mills, flax yarns are treated and softened. The strength of the fibers is preserved, but the resulting fabric is soft and its structure does not irritate the skin. Unfortunately, in the European textile industry, hemp has been almost displaced by synthetic materials. The agricultural machinery needed to harvest and process hemp broke down, rape appeared in the fields, and most of the textile factories processing hemp went bankrupt. But someone does not give up and, for example, the work from the Romanian cannabis breeding laboratory Lovrin looks interesting. So maybe there is a glimpse of better times here too.
